Established in 2009 by Chris Lee and Trevor Scott, Pulse Locating is a privately owned and run Western Australian subsurface detection service provider whom are accredited to the ISO9001 standard and Health and Safety ASNZS4801.
Pulse Locating strive to define, establish and maintain best work practices with a strong focus on safety, within the underground utility locating industry. With over 10 years combined experience in the construction industry, working around underground networks, our promise to customers is the provision of complete underground asset locating services from Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to the physical location of utilities. We also have a Traffic Management division whom can carry out traffic management on locating jobs, or any other traffic management needs.

Chris has over 10 years’ experience in the mining and construction industries and six years naval experience with the Royal Australian Navy. He is a qualified Marine Diesel Mechanic by trade. He has previously worked in supervisory roles for Westrac and Barminco.
His naval experience has provided a sound knowledge of intricate radar operations, repairs and maintenance. His mining experience and vast technical knowledge has provided a sound knowledge of engineering systems required for our work.
Chris is key in developing Pulse’s strategic plans for the future. He takes a risk mitigation and opportunity approach to this planning.
Chris has also been instrumental in building relationships with our key clients and external stakeholders to ensure long-term business partnerships.
Prior to Pulse Locating, Trevor Scott has owned other West Australian businesses. As our Works Manager, Trevor manages all onsite staff, co-ordinates internal resources and ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and meet all contractual obligations. He is adept at managing and overseeing multiple projects. His background in business ensures that the quality of work does not just exist at the job location but starts at initial dealings with our clients, through to job completion and reporting.
Trevor’s in-depth knowledge and expertise of our core services, ensures he provides strong leadership to our onsite staff.
